§ 30-232.2. Stormwater detention areas.

Adequate provision shall be made to control, transport and discharge stormwater. Stormwater detention areas shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the latest design criteria of the urban drainage and flood control district. The city may require the installation of storm sewers in public right-of-ways to prevent flooding of streets or other property. On-site stormwater drainage systems shall be continually maintained by the owners in accordance with the approved drainage report, grading plan and/or construction drawings.
