§ 58-124. Appeal.

Decisions of the city engineer may be appealed to the city council. To appeal an applicant must, within ten days of the date of the city engineer's decision, submit a written notice of appeal to the mayor. Such notice must specifically state the grounds for the appeal. The city council shall, within 30 days of receipt of a notice of appeal, hold a public hearing on the matter in accordance with the procedure set forth in chapter II, article X. Within seven days of completion of the hearing, the city council shall issue a written decision in which it will uphold, overturn or uphold with conditions the decision of the city engineer.
