§ 30-230.1. Extension of time.

If the permittee is unable to complete the work within the specified time, at least ten days prior to the expiration of the grading permit or stormwater quality permit a written request for extension must be submitted to the city engineer setting forth the reasons for the extension of time. In the event such an extension is warranted, the city engineer may grant additional time for the completion of work, but no such extension shall release the owner or surety on the bond, or the issuer of the letter of credit, or the person furnishing the instrument of credit or cash bond.
