§ 2-515. Prequalification of bidders and offerors.

Any person desiring to receive invitations for bids or requests for proposals from the city may submit to the purchasing agent such information as the purchasing agent may require to determine that person's acceptability as a bidder or offeror. The purchasing agent may maintain one or more lists compiled from such submittals and may utilize the same in lieu of public notice for soliciting competitive sealed bids or competitive sealed proposals; provided, however, that the purchasing agent may use such list in lieu of public notice only if public notice of the pre-qualification procedure and intended use of the list has been given within the preceding 12 months.
