§ 2-20. Compensation of mayor, mayor pro tem and city councilmembers.

(a)

The mayor of the city shall receive $1,000.00 per month, plus those expenses, which are incurred in the necessary course of city business and consistent with the city policy on expenses.

(b)

The mayor pro tem shall receive $850.00 per month, plus those expenses which are incurred in the necessary course of city business and consistent with the city policy on expenses.

(c)

Every other member of the city council shall receive $750.00 per month per month, plus those expenses which are incurred in the necessary course of city business and consistent with the city policy on expenses.

(d)

Commencing January 1, 2018, and on the first day of every year thereafter, the compensation for the mayor, mayor pro tem and other members of council shall be adjusted, to match the current percentage adjustment appropriated by city council for employee compensation.
