§ 2-19. Wards.

(a)

The city is divided into three wards for the purpose of electing city councilmembers. For the purpose of this article, reference to streets, avenues and boulevards shall be, unless specifically noted otherwise, to the centerline of such streets, avenues and boulevards, and when reference is made to the limits, it shall be to the boundary line of the established corporate limits, or subdivision.

(b)

The boundaries of the wards in accordance with the map on file with the city clerk shall be as follows:

Ward 1. Beginning at the intersection of 88th Avenue and Federal Boulevard and proceeding north to the intersection of 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard; thence east to the intersection of 92nd Avenue and Tejon Street; thence south to 90th Avenue; thence east to the intersection of 90th Avenue and Pecos Street; thence south to the northwest corner of the Pecos/Huron Subdivision; thence east to Huron Street; thence south to 84th Avenue; thence west and north along the corporate city limits to the intersection of 88th Avenue and Federal Boulevard.

Ward 2. Beginning at the intersection of 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard and proceeding east to the intersection of 92nd Avenue and Tejon Street; thence south to 90th Avenue; thence east to the intersection of 90th Avenue and Pecos Street; thence north to the corporate city limits; thence west following the corporate city limits to Warbler Street; thence west to Cascade Drive; thence north to Canary Street, including all residences on the east and west sides of Canary Street; thence west to Alder Street to the corporate city limits, including all residences on the north and south sides of Alder Street.

Ward 3. Beginning at Hawk Street, including all residences on the north and south sides, and proceeding east to Gull Street, including all residences on the east and west sides, thence south to Cascade Drive, thence east to the intersection of Warbler Street and Zuni Street, thence north following the corporate city limits to 104th Avenue, thence west to the intersection of 104th Avenue and Federal Boulevard following the corporate city limits, thence south on Federal Boulevard along the corporate city limits to Hawk Street.
