§ 10-46. Special conditions.

  • (a)

    Manufactured homes set up in areas of special flood hazard shall be set up in accordance with the general and specific standards for flood hazard reduction pursuant to division 3, article II, chapter 34.

    (b)

    An exterior water supply must be provided and be accessible to the occupant.

    (c)

    The gas riser shall be within 18 inches of the manufactured home outline. Where this standard conflicts with any standard in the adopted plumbing or mechanical code, this standard shall prevail.

    (d)

    Manufactured homes shall be skirted with materials approved by the manufacturer's installation instructions or the division of housing standards, if applicable, if a full exterior foundation wall is not utilized, prior to expiration of the permit.

    (e)

    Attached structures shall be designed to independently support their own live and dead loads.

    (f)

    Manufactured home remodeling work shall comply with the applicable technical codes adopted by the city and in effect at the time the work is performed.

    (g)

    All structures outside the footprint of the home shall comply with the applicable technical codes adopted by the city and in effect at the time the work is performed.

    (h)

    Solid fuel burning fireplaces and appliances shall conform to article IV of this chapter.
